Bangkok day 02

Our first day ended with us sending videos to Glen’s family with jackfruit and spicy squid. 

Earlier on, We took a walk by our old apartment and it felt so that intense. I was overwhelmed by Feelings of great love, artistic evenings and adventure combined with sadness, frustration and poverty from my side. Struggles to make some money, struggles to lose some weight and struggles to understand a person who had ideas that were do different to my beliefs at that period. All these wrapped in heat, excitement, and happiness springs with the smells of Thai flora, stir fry and coriander. 

Being here is like the return of the prodigal son. It feels like my second home that I denounced and abandoned, but it has always been here, waiting for me to return and crown me with a wreath of acceptance knitted together with jasmine and boba tea. 

Chatuchak park along with the other park next to it where like botanical gardens. Manicured to detail and extremely clean, they stand like a diamond in the middle of the city. They used to be so different n the past. 

We had our first run too! After walking in Chatuchak park and the other park behind it we returned to Metropark and run for 30 minutes. I am really proud of myself and of the things I have accomplished in the past 9 years since our first trip here. We had dinner from 7 eleven and I will have Nikas in a few minutes. Another exciting day came to its end and I feel so happy to be here again
